Oriental Garden Lizard
Oriental Garden Lizard, originally uploaded by sk3l.
1/400s . f/4.0 . ISO 200 . 200 mm
One of favorite activities on this island was chasing lizards. I wasn't too sure if they were poisonous so I kept my distance. Thriving on the islands in Maldives this lizard changed colors and would get perfectly camouflaged according to its environment. Check out the variations in the pictures. To the Moon and back...
I guess this is the only way to get close to the moon. Me and my wife were strolling on the beach while the sky was crystal clear. These days its surprisingly clear in Kuwait a good relief from the usual dust storms.

For the Shot I used a Canon 40D 70-200mm F/2.8L IS USM lens and a Gorilla Pod.

Some facts:
The Moon is Earth's only natural satellite[nb 4][6] and is the fifth largest satellite in the Solar System. It is the largest natural satellite in the Solar System relative to the size of its planet, a quarter the diameter of Earth and 1/81 its mass, and is the second densest

It stands in the Laccadive Sea, about seven hundred kilometers (435 mi) south-west of Sri Lanka and (250 mi) south-west of India.
